As Reileyn was saying nothing, Andrew decided not to keep asking about it. "Let's go!" he called. Andrew and Flybeemon lead the way, with Sonic following on Magnamon. Davis and Ken followed on Paildramon and Matt rode MetalGarurumon just behind them. Tai and WarGreymon waited to bring up the rear.

Meanwhile, Kimeramon was still having trouble with the control spire. He tried all four of his attacks, but none of them worked. A pair of Gazimon, both wearing dark rings, were waiting outside the coliseum.

Meanwhile, at the coliseum, a strange digimon was trying to destroy the control spire. He had Veemon's head, Tentomon's body, Agumon's arms and claws, Guilmon's legs and Gomamon's feet. After Kimeramon had been destroyed, the data was too complex to be completely reconfigured, so the rookie form of Kimeramon was born. This was the digimon that was attacking the control spire, without much success.

Reileyn sighed and held on to Pegasusmon's back. For the longest time she feared she didn't belong with these people.

Rei sighs, "It's nothing." She ties her hair back and looks at Lopmon, "Digi-Armor energize!" Lopmon digivolves into Pegasusmon. Rei jumps onto Pegasusmon's back.
